Job Description
As we are growing and adding more hotel/motels in our corporation and subsidiaries, we are looking for the right candidate to manage the day-to-day activities of our established motel located at Kingston, Ontario. The Hotel Manager’s responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Review existing processes and policies. Evaluate and implement new processes to make pleasant experience for the guests.
• Keep track of all the expenses and prepare budget with the maximum possible savings with higher productivity.
• Maintain occupancy and average revenue to keep operational budget at least 20% above threshold.
• Come with creative and new marketing ideas including social media and tie-ups with travel agencies as well as online booking vacation and travel portals.
• Propose the pricing and promotional plans/strategies to increase the revenue.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers for the best quality products and materials for rooms as well as food products for Breakfast.
• Manage group bookings and prepare the final deal with corporates/organizations.
• Prepare strategy for receiving feedback via various options such as email, online or telephone and work on the improvement on the concerns raised by guests.
• Work with various network partners including city to have a deal with stay and visit places packages.
Employment requirements
? University/college degree in business administration or Hotel Management with 2-4 years of experience in managing employee in any corporation set-up;
? Experience in managing retails clients;
? Experience in negotiation skills and processes driven methodology;
? Experience in development strategies for increase in revenue and bottom line;
? Good English communication skills; and,
? Customer focus approach
