We are currently looking to hire a Butcher or Meat Cutter that would like to grow with the company and join our fun and dynamic team!

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
ADDRESS: 50 Davis Drive, Newmarket
SCHEDULE: 7:00am- 3:00pm (including weekends)
SALARY: $16.00 to $25.00 /hr (pending on experience)

EDUCATION:
-High school diploma or equivalent

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Good customer service skills
-Open and eager to learn
- Ability to multi-task and work in a teamwork environment
-Comfortably lifting 30 -60 lbs of weight and can work with knives, hand tools, equipment and utensils

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- 8 hour fast-pace working environment that requires lifting, standing, walking, bending, squatting and moving products frequently

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Greet customers and provide counter customer service
-Prepare and attractively display meat cuts and products in display counter
-Cut and debone meat from carcass, grind or prepare meats to customer’s and Pavao Meats specifications
-Weigh, wrap and label packages of meat
- Marinate different meat cuts and poultry
- Replenish stock as needed
- Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards
