Job Details Maple Ridge Carpet One is looking for a full-time permanent (40 hours) Flooring Installer.

Are you self-motivated tradesman able to work without supervision?
Your duties:
• Stretch carpeting using power stretcher and secure carpeting to floor or other surfaces using staple gun or other services.
• Install hardwood floors, strip floors, block floor, laminate using special tools of work such as nails, staples, glue.
• Take measurement and able to work with carpet and vinyl.
• Cut flooring materials, install resilient flooring covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools.
• Clean up area, removing all debris and scrap flooring materials.
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
• Basic warehouse duties, managing flooring material, filling orders.
• Customer service and good communication skills

Job Description Position requires physical health and have at least 4+ years of related experience or 2+ years apprenticeship program in floor covering installation.
Education: High School
• Position is FT permanent. $23.5 per/hr 40 hours/week, possible weekend hours.
