Job Details About Us:
We are looking for a home child care provider to take care of our two children in our home. We prefer the candidate have experience with infant and school-age children, someone who can receive full attention and give the best care.

Job Offer:
Job Position: In-home Child Care Provider
Vacancy: 1
Term of the employment: Permanent
Work Hours: 32 hours per week. 8 hours a day and 4 days a week from Tuesday to Friday.
Hourly Wage and Hours: 20 CAD per hour.
Location: 3067 21 Ave East, Vancouver, BC V5M 2W6
Starting Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Supervise and care for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Take children to and from school and to appointments
- Light housekeeping

Job requirements
Languages: English
Education Requirement: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months experience as a home child care provider is required.
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Reference required
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home, Relocation costs covered by employer, Willing to relocate
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
Personal Suitability: Organized, Reliability, Team player, Excellent oral communication
Additional Skills: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Shop for food and household supplies
Children's Ages: 1 and 5 years old
Target Audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged groups of children
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Work Setting: Employer's home
