Job Details MK Construction ltd. is a FortMcMurray based construction and landscaping company. We work on both renovation and new construction for residential and commercial clients. Since 2007 the organization has seen steady growth and continues to expand its markets locally.
The company has an immediate opening for experienced Bricklayers. We are looking to hire three Bricklayers for full-time permanent dayshift. The candidate duties include:
1. Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
2. Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, structural tiles and similar materials to construct or repair walls, foundations and other structures in residential, industrial and commercial construction.
3. Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
4. Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
5. Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
6. Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing to walls or other surfaces
7. Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
8. Lay bricks or other masonry units to build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations
9. Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures.

Job Description Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications:
1. From 3 to 5 years of experience as a Bricklayer.
2. A keen eye for details and result-driven approach.
3. Good communication skills.
4. Be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
