Job type: Full time, permanent (35-40 hours per week)

Wages: $33.75/ per hour
Benefits: 10 business days per year (starting). Group benefits including extended health, dental and insurance at the sole discretion of the employer.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
Duties: Erosion Control Contracting Inc. (“ECC”) provides environmental and landscape solutions across British Columbia. We specialize in erosion control and dewatering applications such as hydro-seeding, quad-seeding, reclamation, re-vegetation, stream restoration, erosion control blankets, straw blowing and silt fencing. We also provide landscape solutions such as: hydro-seeding, bark blowing, retaining wall construction and green roof installation.
Our Junior Project Manager will be responsible for the following in ECC’s provision of environmental and landscape solutions:
• Supervising, training and coaching junior or new field staff;
• Planning and estimating material and labor requirements for contracts to implement soil erosion control and dewatering services;
• Responding to complaints or technical queries raised by site personnel and monitoring sites to ensure best management practices;
• Utilizing erosion control and dewatering knowledge to resolve water or soil management problems;
• Establishing schedules and procedures based on project priorities, risks and finance;
• providing progress and other reports;
• Organizing and participating in set up and maintenance of ECC’s erosion control and dewatering services such as Hydro Seeding, Straw Blowing, Quad Seeding, Bark Blowing, Retaining Wall Construction, etc.; and
• Analyzing results of investigations with ECC management to determine measures needed to maintain or ensure proper soil management.

Job Description Job requirements
• Must have knowledge of English language
• Completion of secondary school education is required.
• Minimum three years of previous work experience required in the similar field.
• Attention to details required at all times.
• Must have or be eligible to receive a Class 3 driver’s license.
