Job Description:

? Bathe, dress and feed infant
? Supervise and care for child
? Prepare and serve nutritious meals
? Prepare infant for rest periods
? Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant
? Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
? Tend to emotional well-being of child
? Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
? Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
? Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
? Shop for food and household supplies
? Care for pet (one dog)

Requirements:
-Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
-Experience: At least one year of full-time experience as a caregiver is required.
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending crouching, kneeling, repetitive tasks
-Personal Suitability: Initiative, judgement, reliability, effective interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organized, flexibility
-Work setting: Private home – Employer’s home
-Children ages: 1 year-old child.

Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 hourly, 30 - 40 hours per week.

Important Information: Work schedule is Monday to Friday and will include weekends every second week. However, this position requires flexibility in schedule due to the parents’ work schedules. Thus, caregiver’s schedule will be: Mondays and Tuesdays: 08:00 am - 4:00 pm. And Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Some Wednesdays and Thursdays off. It includes on-call work if needed. Overtime, weekend work, and evening shifts will be required. The caregiver will be responsible for the care of one child (Age: 1 year-old)
