• Position: FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR
• Vacancies: One (1)
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Working hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $16.00 per hour
• Benefit: 4% of Vacation Pay / Free Meals & Tips

Job Duties

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff engaged in serving food and beverage / food preparers
• Ensure food and customer service meet quality and resolve customer complaints
• Ensure that standards for finished product quality, service and speed, quality and cleanliness are met
• Hire food service staff and coordinate, train work of staff
• Control labour hours and complete assigned shift paperwork
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Estimate, order supplies when needed and prepare budget/cost estimates, reports
• Assign work schedules and evaluate work performance of staff engaged in food service
• May establish work procedures for food service staff and assist in development of policies
• Be able to work shifts (day, evening, night and/or weekends)

Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School
• Min. 1 year of experience of previous work experience in food service (or) completion of a college program in food service sector or related discipline required
