Job Description:

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Prepare the child for rest periods.
Feed the child
Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child
Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development
Tend to emotional well-being of the child
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Organize, activities such as games and outings for the child
Supervise and care for the child
Help the child with homework
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
Shop for food and household supplies

Requirements:
-Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
-Experience: At least one year of full-time experience as a caregiver is required.
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks.
-Personal Suitability: Initiative, judgement, reliability, effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication, organized, flexibility.
-Work setting: Private home – Employer’s home
-Child age: 12 years old.

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 hourly, 40 hours per week.


Important Information:
-Monday to Friday. Regular schedule starts at 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Overtime and weekend work might be required depending on the parents' work schedules. The child caregiver will be responsible for the care of a 12-years-old-child.
