Job Details Kamloops-based employer is presently seeking an experienced caregiver to care for an elderly woman. The position is expected to commence ASAP. Care will take place in the employer's home.Public transportation is accessible.

Personal Skills: Reliability; Effective interpersonal skills; Team player; Excellent oral communication; Judgement and intuitiveness; and Flexibility.

Specific Skills: Provide personal care, Provide companionship, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Additional Skills: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; and shop for food and household supplies.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver or home support worker required; familiarity with nursing or similar care-related professions is an asset.Other Requirements: Criminal record check required.

Hours: Full-Time

Wage: Higher of $19.56/hour or Prevailing Wage
