Business Information: Final Frontiers owns several operating companies in Calgary and Canmore including luxury vacation home properties, a professional cleaning company, and a vacation rental management company. We are seeking an Executive Assistant Housekeeper to ensure our properties are well looked after and to coordinate with the teams of the other properties.

Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:
• Establish and implement operational procedures for housekeeping department
• Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
• Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas
• Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
• Participate and conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
• Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff
• Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms. Ensure all job tools and equipment are well maintained, maintain inventory controls and waste management
• Respond to complaints of guests
• Supervise staff
• Co-ordinate contract services
• Supervise maintenance and repair services
• Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services
• Supervise in-house laundry services
• Co-ordinate in-house laundry services
• Co-ordinate concierge services
• Prepare and send expense reports
• Promote positive relationships in communication and cooperation with all co-workers and customers.
• Discipline team members when appropriate, escalate when necessary
• Participate in some guest communications
• Liaise with vacation home owners
• Represent Final Frontiers Holdings Corp. in a positive manner while acting suitably at all times

Requirements
- Education: Completion of high school is required. A university degree or college diploma in hospital management, hotel management or business administration is a strong asset.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a cleaning supervisor and additional experience as a light duty cleaner or as a housekeeping attendant is required
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking and large workload
- Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, client focus, flexibility, Interpersonal awareness, Dependability, Excellent written communication, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Team player, Reliability
- Ability to supervise 5-10 people

Salary: $21.00 to $25.00 Hourly, 30 - 35 hours per week

Important Information: The position requires working 5-6 days per week, the work schedule is from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, plus additional hours to supervise and co-ordinate operations as required. Flexibility on schedule is required including weekend/holidays hours. Overtime might be required during busy season. 30 hours of work per week are guaranteed.
