Job Description Amenida Senior's Community Ltd. is a progressive and caring seniors’ community dedicated to the continued health and wellness of our residents. Our caring team coordinates daily active living opportunities to support residents’ physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well being. We have Assisted Living staff who are here 24 hrs. per day.

Job Title: Home Support Worker (NOC4412)
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.
Wage Rate: $20.00 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week
Location: 13855 68Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W2G9
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening, Overtime if required.
Education: High School
Experience: Completion of a training program in elderly or 1 year of related experience.
Languages: English
Benefits: Relocation costs with private medical insurance for the first 3 months will be paid by the employer.
Job Duties:
• Provide care and companionship to the senior person.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties for elder person such as laundry, washing dishes and making bed.
• Maintain hygiene and provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and undressing.
• Assisting in administering medication and perform health related duties.
• Prepare meals and special diet and assist in feeding.

Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
