Job Details Carat Jewellers is Edmonton's most recommended jewelry store from locals and visitors alike. The store has immediate opening for experienced Department Store Supervisor. This position is perfect for an energetic self-starter with a strong ability to multi-task and communicate with your fellow team members in a fast-paced work environment.
The candidate’s duties include:
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the store;
• Partner with management to set goals and targets;
• Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules;
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages;
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise;
• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters;
• Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff.

Job Description Education: Secondary school graduation certificate.

Requirements and qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in management.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Energetic with strong work ethic.
• Flexible and has the ability to learn and thrive with new skills and opportunities.
• Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends.
