Job Details Early Childhood Education Assistant
Eagle Kids Learning Centre is looking for four (4) experienced full-time (40hr), Early Childhood Education Assistants on a permanent basis.
The Eagle Kids program draws from several models of child development including Montessori model to create an inclusive, child-led, emergent program steeped in the belief that children are strong, capable, creative thinkers who can explore their ideas in a myriad of ways.
We are located in Squamish downtown. Our goal at Eagle Kids is to provide the best quality care for the children.
Main Duties:
• Assist children in daily habits such as eating, dressing.
• Telling stories, teaching songs and observe children during class.
• Submit daily report for early childhood educators and supervisors.
• Share responsibility for planning, preparing, age appropriate activities that encourage children’s creativity and learning.
• Attend the meetings with early childhood educators to discuss problems of children if any

Job Description And:

• Some work experience in a similar setting
• Strong interpersonal & relationship skills
• High school diploma
• Completion of Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate Preferred (BC ECE or ECEA Licence).
• First Aid
• Criminal Record Check


Remuneration:

• $20 per hour
• Paid vacation
• Paid sick day
