Job Details Early Childcare Educator
Eagle Kids Learning Centre is looking for 4 experienced full-time (40hr), Early Childcare Educators on a permanent basis.
The Eagle Kids program draws from several models of child development including Montessori model to create an inclusive, child-led, emergent program steeped in the belief that children are strong, capable, creative thinkers who can explore their ideas in a myriad of ways.
We are located in Squamish downtown. Our goal at Eaglekids is to provide the best quality care for the children.
Main Duties:
• Develop and implement childcare program that support the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
• Lead several main activities such as telling stories, provide activities that encourage creativity through arts, plays or music.
• Guide and assist children in daily habits such as eating, dressing.
• Assess the abilities and the needs of the children and discuss developing progress with parents or other staff members.
• Prepare reports of any behavioral problems of the children for supervisor or parents.
• Establish and maintain relationships with co-workers and related departments working with children.

Job Description And:

• Complete 2 to 4 years program in early childhood education or bachelor’s degree in related field is required
• Certification for early childhood educators issued from British Columbia authority is required (BC ECE Licence)
• First Aid
• Criminal Record Check


Remuneration:

• $22 per hour
• Paid vacation
• Paid sick day
