Seafresh Products Distributors, Inc is a Richmond-based international seafood wholesaler and processor specializing in a broad spectrum of live, fresh and frozen seafood products. Seafresh Products started in 1991 and has established a vast network of worldwide markets. We import seafood from many countries such as Korea, Japan, America, and Europe and distribute them throughout Canada, abroad to U.S.A. We are dealing with live and fresh seafood products including Rock-cod, ling-cod, Dungeness crab, king crab, lobster, fresh fish, clams, geoduck, etc. We are licensed for over fifty species and have significant capacity to sell.

Job Description

Job duties :
· Unload seafood from trucks and put them into the processing plant
· Cutting, cleaning, and removing parts of the live, fresh frozen seafood products. Such as hand-cut, clean, trim fish and other seafood like geoduck, crab, oyster, and scallop with a knife
· Check products and ensure conformance to company standards
· Record production information such as quantity, weight, grade, date, and type of product
· Make sure the products are stored appropriately
· Review orders and ensure they are filled correctly
· Follow all company and regulatory guidelines including safety, food-safe
· Breaking down boxes for recycling
· Transport supplies and packaging materials to the customers including superstores, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
Skills requirements:
· At least 6 months Experience in a fish and seafood industrial processing or production plant or experience in the related industry preferred
· No degree, diploma, or certificate required
· Ability to recognize different kinds of seafood and have some relevant knowledge about the seafood storage and processing
· Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Physically fit to stand, lift and carry 50 lbs
· Ability to do repetitive work in a cold, wet environment, indoors/outdoors
· Ability to communicate effectively in English
· Attention to detail and a commitment to safety, sanitation, and professionalism
· Reliability to report to work as scheduled including weekdays, weekends, night rounds, irregular hours, holidays
