This Opportunity:

Boston Pizza is a renowned franchise restaurant and brand with locations across Canada. Boston Pizza Saanich is
looking to hire a permanent full-time Kitchen Supervisor who is passionate about the food and beverage industry,
can engage and motivate the team in a fast-paced environment, and can successfully assist in our kitchen
operations through supervision and upper management coordination. The ideal candidate be responsible for:

o Supervisor the operations of the kitchen during shifts
o Adhere to, and ensure employee adherence to, company standards in a manner that increases sales and minimizes costs
o Support management in recruitment of new staff, as well as train on required skills and duties of existing and new staff
o Coordinate staff scheduling, ensuring all shifts are properly staffed and efficient
o Motivate and encourage staff to achieve team goals and create a positive work environment
o Practice inventory control standards and inspect equipment and storage facilities to ensure equipment is in proper working order
o Organize stock and equipment, order supplies, and oversee overall business maintenance, cleanliness, and security
o Ensure health and safety compliance is in alignment with business standards and applicable laws

Skills Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 2 years supervisory and/or experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training
• Food Safe Certificate, or willingness to obtain before employment start date
