Title of the position: Floor Covering Installer (NOC 7295)
Job duties:
• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
• Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
• Prepare and install hardwood floor
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Prepare floors for installations
• Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
• Employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting

Terms of employment: permanent full-time; 40 hours per week
Employment conditions: morning, day, evening, weekend
Language of work: English
Wage: $26 / per hour
Start date: as soon as possible
Location of work: various locations in Calgary, AB

Skills requirements:
• Education: completion of secondary (high) school
• Work experience: 3-5 years of experience
• Physical capabilities: physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling
• Installation Specialization: vinyl or resilient tiles or sheets, hardwood intricate patterns flooring, carpets, rugs
• Work setting: commercial
Transportation:
Own Transportation, Valid Driver’s Licence
