Salary: $16.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:

- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;

- Completion of secondary (high) school is required;

- 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook in a restaurant is required

Job duties:

- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes;

- Prepare and cook fried chicken and wings with numerous housemade flavours;

- Prepare Sandwiches and Wraps such as Doritos Chicken Burger, Wing Shack Pork Sandwich, Chicken Quesadilla, and Vegetarian Wrap;

- Prepare Caesar Salad and cook side dishes such as Yam Fries, Potato Wedges and Spicy Cajun Potato Wedges;

- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances;

- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies;

- Inspect kitchens and food service areas;

- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;

- Order supplies and equipment;

- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;

- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;

- Clean kitchen and work areas;

- Manage kitchen operations
