Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd. is looking for a permanent full-time 30 hr/week, Art Teacher.

Your duties:

• Teach student techniques and methods of drawings, paintings
• Demonstrate and assistant students to use different techniques to develop artworks aligned to their artistic abilities. 
• Teach student how to properly care and maintain materials, tools and equipment.
• Supervise other apprentices
• Manage business operations

Working professional:

·         You will be working with sculpture (abstract), paintings, and drawings (landscape, portraiture)

You will be handling different types of painting and drawing but not limited to acrylics, water colours, pastels, oil colours, ink, crayons, coal are charcoal

·         Details oriented and adhere to tight deadlines

·         Physical demanding and able to distinguish between colours.

·         Criminal record check availability

Requirement:

·         Education: University degree or college diploma in art field is required

·         Experience: Several years of proven experience in a similar setting

Position is full-time 30hr/week. $33 per/hr
